Our Menu
The following is a sample menu to give you a flavour of our food. The menu changes regularly depending on the season as we always use the best in fresh, local produce. In addition, take a look at our recipe page for inspiring ideas that you can make at home.
Today's Homemade Food:
- The Deli's posh cheese on toast. Local Kent cheese, Winterdale Shaw, melted on our red onion marmalade. Eat in £3.75.
- Our traditional steak and ale pie. Spitfire ale from the Shepherd Neame Brewery. Served with a green salad. Eat in £6.95 or takeaway £5.50.
- Open warm ciabatta with our homemade smoked salmon and horseradish mousse, wild rocket and a green salad. Eat in £4.95.
- Our homemade savoury tart with mushrooms, Serrano ham, artichoke, gruyere cheese and tarragon with a green salad. Eat in £4.95 or takeaway £4.50.
- Romney Marsh lamb burger in a large white soft bap with a yoghurt dressing, red onion marmalade and salad. Eat in £4.95 or takeaway £4.50.
- Homemade sausage roll using local pork mince and fresh sage with Kent pickles and a green salad. Eat in £3.25 or takeaway £2.75.
- Savoury cheese scone with goat’s cheese, wild rocket and our homemade red onion marmalade. Eat in £2.95 or takeaway £2.50.
- Homemade fish pie, with prawns, mussels, haddock and spinach. Eat in £5.95 or takeaway £4.50.
- The above dishes may be accompanied by a portion of one of our daily salads for £1.95.
Salads:
- A bowl of our free rangechicken, pesto, pasta salad with pine nuts and cherry tomatoes. Eat in £4.75 or takeaway £3.50.
- Homemade potato salad with tomato, cucumber, spring onion and mayo. Eat in £2.95 or takeaway £2.50.
- Couscous salad with apricots, pine nuts, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, olives, corianderand a lemon dressing. Eat in £4.25 or takeaway £3.25.
- A combination plate of the above 3 salads for £4.95.
